On Monday, April 28 from 4-6 PJ’s Coffee House at Cornerstone Commerce Center at 1201 New Rd in Linwood is hosting a fundraiser/social for Heart of Surfing.
Heart of Surfing is a grassroots, local organization – made up of incredible volunteers that believe that everyone has the ability to participate and have fun.
Our mission is to create positive experiences for individuals with autism and/or other developmental disabilities through recreational activities. We offer surfing, skateboarding/scootering, roller skating, ice skating and more! The frequency of these outings give individuals and their families an opportunity to build a community. As you know, the lack of peer interactions in the special needs community is one of the more challenging relationships to build. Hearts of Surfing offers joy! The smiles, confidence, and friendships grow at each event. All of these opportunities are free for families!!
We are asking for raffle items from our generous community for our Monday, 4/28 fundraiser. Will you please consider donating to our worthy cause?
